@anayadinnah brither there is a difference between hearing and listening, music in islaam is haraam, no ifs or buts, if you dont like the ruling then you cant pick and choose what you believe, if you say your a muslim then you submit yourself to God and accept what is haraam and halaal or choose another religion

@ASR7860 Dear Brother. It is not possible that the Prophet (S) would allow his followers to hear something which is haram until the end while he himself (S) refrain from it. For it is against the nature of the prophet being the guide for the ummah. There must be other explanation for this hadith.
