The 80's and 90's were different. But even back then when we were on 56k modems and ISDN of 128k. You still needed a group of people to make any kind of dent.
And even still, it's the same principle of ICMP packets flooding the server.
There's never been a site or server been permanently put out of commision by DDOS.
These days they have countermeasures to drop an IP that requests too many ICMP packets from a server. So this video is useless.

Curently We younger people 15-16 years who call our selfs hackers :p xD.
We are using some Custom desing Programs like IP tool DDos is good For taking down Server which are not protcted with firewall, and there are many like that becuse there is people who doesnt know what is firewall and they have servers... So i just step back from hacking becuse when u get ur crew and u cant stop ur self thats sing that u need to stop it becuse u can finish in jail... SO i recomend all people If you are ready

To Lose ur life with staying 24/7 at computer than do hacking! But i recomend not better go with some chicks get fun while you are young! Belive me i had life like Hacker and i would like to i didnt have it....
