  • HEHEHE... But she drinks it anyway? Good for her! I'd love some tips on how to gt my VERY picky kids to drink it or eat raw foods.

  • LOL!! that's always a good trick! :) Nope, I don't have kids. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people that just couldn't tolerate having them. If I had kids, I would have to be the bread winner of the family, because I just can't see myself staying at home and being around a bunch of kids. Kids have always liked me, and I am a very nice person. I don't mind baby sitting occasionally, or holding a friend or family member's new baby for a while, but I couldn't deal with it 24/7. I feel bad for it.

  • i was fat, lazy and had no clue about the real world. my grades in school suffered, and i've had to work THAT much harder in life to succeed... i don't want my children going through that, so i would definitely be tougher on them... but not so tough they hate me. i think you misunderstood my tone. i was more concerned than anything else.. because i've had the lenient parents & it did me no good.. in fact, it was detrimental.

  • lol my parents never did that to me. they were actually very lenient with me and gave me pretty much everything (within reason) that i wanted. i suffered because of that kind of parenting. so when/if i have children, i will not do that to them. i will be more stern and push them to succeed and toughen up, unlike what my parents did with me. my parents never made me go hungry or do anything i didn't want to do. the result was a lot of years of training myself not to be lazy & detox from fast food

  • Good lord, your parents are cruel, and you can tell by the tone of your comment that you were traumatized by it. STOP THE VICIOUS CYCLE!!! Remember that scene in the movie Good Will Hunting? "It's not your fault. It's not your fault It's not your fault. It's not your fault It's not your fault. It's not your fault It's not your fault. It's not your fault It's not your fault. It's not your fault It's not your fault. It's not your fault It's not your fault. It's not your fault...".

  • I know! it is gross! but it's sooooo good for us we have to just DO IT! I hear that after a while you start to like the taste, but even so, I'm groeng some today for the first time!!!! YAY!!!! I feel like a farmer ands I love it!

  • I can't get fresh coconut water here :( Not one place in town sells young coconuts. No durians either I've never got to try one.

  • You can mix it with fresh coconut water.

  • I understand! :) you do the best you can. I'm sure your kids will end up being amazing people.

  • Also I will add they do "have" to eat their veggies, but what I would like is for them to "want" to eat them! As an easy going single Mom I decide to pick my battles wisely. Luckily I have excellent kids so there are not many :) Do you have kids?

There is also the sneaky method raw cacao nut mylk smoothie with spinach! They'll never know *evil laugh*.

  • I agree, however not every situation is equal. I do from time to time give no choice. But there are other things at play that I can't leave in a comment here.
