I just watched the "theme song ad" and I had goosebumps all over, I love my country, I love rugby biltong, braaivleis, selami, potjiekos, my moms bobotie, tamaletjie, boerewors, the local spar supermrket. I love Afrikaans, Fanakalo, Inproper english, boere meisies, Toyota Hilux Bakkies, veld hoede, Castle lager KWV wyn en brandewyn! I love the bos, the big five, koeksisters, melktert, Jock of the Bushveld. This right here is what i live for. God Bless South Africa!

There've been South Africans and Americans generally who've said that the South African nation is the last who still accepts the American nation, there should be more cultural exchanges between the two, and South Africans tend to have a fascination for all things American. I'd say an example of cultural exchanges is with foods, e.g. pumpkin recipes. Another is music, e.g. country music. With this braai (barbecue) - can then have a blending of the South African & American ones.
