  • Song is truly 1 of the best ever written, and your paintings are absolutely "magic" and my kind of paintings~!!@"}{+++

  • Regardless of Peter's views, and he is entitled to have them, God knows - his art is seriously stunning and I believe that Cockburn would be honoured to see his words put to such beauty :) Your art is glorious to the eyes and to the soul, Peter.

  • @silvi01977 There needs to be balance in any discourse, yes.

  • @PainterofPaint OOPS My bad: It was Samir Selmanovic:

'Atheism at its best grabs us by the collar and throws us to the ground, demanding to see lives well lived, forcing us to dig deeper and live up to the best of our own religions…Atheists are God’s whistleblowers.' - Samir Selmanovic

  • @PainterofPaint As I said, I know Brucie is very much a man of the left but he's far more insightful than any of the American left wing bomb throwers. Plus he seems to actually care for the dispossessed instead of using their existence to further denigrate the people he might disagree with.

  • @silvi01977 If by 'some of my slogans' you mean images of former president George W. Bush, I would ask you to study some of the other songs in same album "Life Short Call Now". And while I don't concur with everything Bill Maher stands for, I do feel people like him (and people like George Carlin ..) help keep us religious people and/or "middle of the roaders" on our toes. Was it C.S. Lewis who said "atheists are God's whistle blowers"? Anyway, I'm glad you like the paintings and the song.

  • Good song, good paintings. As a longtime Cockburn fan I know that he's no conservative but he's never been part of the reactionary fringe that Bill Maher or some of your slogans seem to have been picked from. It cheapens an otherwise interesting video.

  • @PainterofPaint, THX,I search a Video from this Song!!!

  • Thank you for this beautiful video for a beautiful song. I'm by no means religious, but Bruce always has a way of voicing my spiritualness. "come all you stumblers who believe love rules"
