DeBothezat Huge Industrial Fan

This fan is a DeBothezat "Fan-Pac" made by the DeBothezat Fans division of American Machine & Metals in Moline, Illinois. It has a Holtzer-Cabot motor of around 1/4 HP. This is a huge fan with a blade set diameter greater than 3 feet. It works well but I would like to re-do the wiring and the fan cage.

You know when I was driving down the road, the wind was causing the fan to run! It reminded me of those boats they have that can hover above swamps that use a huge fan on them.

What the RPM on the motor

Thanks! The motor data plate has some grease on it so I couldn't see the RPM rating, I will need to clean it off to check.

I actually looked back at the video again and was able to see the RPM of the motor; it's 1725.
