Lets Play Breath of Fire [Part 9] Stone Robot

Continuing on with our LP, I decide to start taking a couple breaks and hope to speed this thing up a tad, if I can gain an extra level here an there off screen, stuff should go more smoothly. Typical RPG stuff there. The next few parts includes a little bit more usage of the 'speed up' button and some off screen work, whether its a minor grind or item organization or menu shopping... etc.

In this episode however, we finally go find out what this Stone Robot thing is all about. Turns out it is indeed a giant robot of stone, no idea what its doing there or who made it or where it came from or what its purpose is, but alas there it stands.

The bad dudes want to use it for evil though, and I'm in there way. Just a note to the bad guys, usually don't work out too well for people who stand in my way.

@Meccsss I thought warp was to get out of a dungeon, turns out its to go to towns. But I prefer walking to gain EXP. From now on I do most of the walking-to-and-fro offscreen though, so as to not waste your guys' time.

It's pretty sad that some of these older games like this bof shows how much the new equipment will improve the char when there are some newer games that don't even show it.

@Dario8676 You think so? I feel like newer RPGs always show you the stat changes and stuff, while old ones often just go "Ehh, more attack power. You don't need to know the rest we'll just keep it a secret from you."

FFVI did it best though, being able to look at everything an item did if you went through the Item menu instead of Equipment menu, who can equip, every element, every stat, etc.
