Hockey Night in Canada HNIC - Old Theme/New Intro

I got the idea to do this from the video I responded to. This is just to give people an idea as to what the new intro might look like if CBC ponied up the dough to keep the original HNIC theme.

Sorry for the hack edit job of the old HNIC theme; the theme is about twice as long as the video, i only spent about ten minutes putting this together and I have NO experience editing audio and really didn't care all that much to learn how to do so.

Now after watching it a few times I'm actually surprised how well this came out; I really didn't put too much effort into making it. I was just playing with the old theme and the new intro on YouTube and decided to try and make my own video. I edited the audio blind in regards to how it syncs up with the video, as my only concern was matching the run times of the two. I already had some idea as to how I wanted the theme to go but adjusted what I did with regards to what I had.

Hopefully someone with more talent/experience with editing will use this as a catalyst to make their own mix, as making one better than mine is no big task at all.

I really recommend watching this in the higher quality, as the regular quality kind of sucks.

Man i remember when the old theme was played like 5 ears ago me and my dad would set up a small hockey net in my living room and he would take shots on me with a foam ball. He used one of those small plastick sticks and i used a small plastic goalie stick. *sigh* HNIC will always be the best thing on Saturdays
