Sally Dexter was a brilliant Nancy on stage. So gutsy!!!

@jewisboy29 Sally stayed with the show for about a year and a half, and was replaced by Ruthie Henshall, who was then replaced by Claire Moore and finally by Sonia Swaby, who closed the show. Dexter received an Olivier Award nomination for her performance. Hope this helps

When I think about it Bette being as young as she is even if she isn't Nancy's sister bc although Nancy wouldn't necessarily have a BEST friend being that much younger than her Bette is kinda representing the little girl that looks up to Nancy...she could also be the only girl who lives there so OF COURSE she sticks with Nancy bc who really wants to hang out with a bunch of boys?

@jewisboy29 Hiya. Sally stayed with the show for a bout a year and a half I'd say something like that. The show opened in Dec 1994, and I know Ruthie Henshall played Nancy at some stage in 1996... so you do the math! :)
Info is very limited on this particular revival so we don't know for sure who played what when etc... This production closed in 1998. hope this helps.
