Sorry but there is one thing I cannot get my head round here, Arthur's religion. Is he meant to be a Christian or a pagan? I mean he has a cross on his shield and there seems to be a cross outside his house and on his banner, which would suggest he was a Christian. Yet he always refers to gods in the plural suggesting that he is in fact a pagan. Does the full series give any clues about this?
