bob cole is wonderful and is easily my favorite announcer. however where he is now calling montreal games is where he likes it. he is continuouly calling one team and althoguh many dont know the habs are coles team. I was rotted when hughson and simpson took over but in a way hughson has his own aura thats good. I wouldnt't have picked anyone but hughson to call gustavsoon's save against detroit a year back

@17MJG93 I wish people would stop mocking Bob Cole about "not knowing where he is" or "not knowing player's names" because Cole has been calling NHL games since 1969 so I think he DOES know who's who & know's player's names off by heart. Yeesh, he's been involved in hockey for over 40 years & people thinkg he doesn't know a thing about hockey or doesn't remember anyone's name?? PFFFFT...Bob Cole was calling games before half of us were even born! :-)

@boxerbriefs24 I disagree. Bob Cole was good, no doubt, but it got to the point where he didnt know what city he was in half the time. Great video here though.

@jfleming23 - People mock Bob Cole because of his age & think he's already supposed to be retired or something. Who is ANYONE to tell Bob Cole when to retire?? Bob can keep calling games on CBC for as long he likes, & that's fine by me! :-)

Only Bob Cole will know when it's time to step away, but until then, keep up the good work Bob!! :-D
