George Rhoads created a sculpture identical to this for Long Ridge Mall in Greece, NY! I had no idea it was called The Bee Tree. Sadly, this disappeared in 1994 when Long Ridge was extensively remodeled and renamed. May I feature your video on my website that pays tribute to Long Ridge Mall? If The Bee Tree is to be taken down, I want to buy it.

don't knock it down.this is great.sad news however.bee tree is in bad shape and not working like this aqnymore.ghetto trash has destroyed most of the objects.

Very nice - I just met Rhoads recently & he's a cool guy. His larger kinetic sculptures make their own Gamelan sounding music of the spheres. The JoAnne Powers Trio accompaniment goes well with the bee tree. Thanks for posting this!
