If Obama ruins this mans life over words, I don't think anything could ever redeem Obama from his evil selfish ways. Yes, what the General said was not approperiate and should not have said those things to a reporter.
BUT, do you ruin a mans career over it? Do you take his retirement away and benefits after 35 years of service to our country? heck no! Have the man resign from leader of Afganistan, but don't ruin his career.

Osama was a sort of mythical figure to begin with. There was some guy named Usama bin Laden but he was obviously blown in credibly out of proportion into this gigantic figure.

McChrystal doesn't impress me , especially since he was appointed by Obama. What would impress me would be a man who looks tougher , meaner not leaner as his profile suggests. It's one thing to have decorations and quite another to be the type of man who attacks terrorism full force and immediately. Letting politics and government into the battlefield is costing more than lives , it is costing generations of respect . Admiring conversation in battle is cowardice.
