This shows basically behind the scenes at how the string pinsetter works. Using the pulleys makes it easy to reset. It needs a bit of readjusting since the nylon strings have stretched a bit. The pins should go up to the red stripes. I will eventually switch over to plastic wrapped cable. Under normal play, the side door is closed and I have a big poster that hangs above to hide all of the mechanics. The wood below the pulleys is used to catch any string slack. The string goes through small holes at an angle before heading through the stablizer boards for the pins. This keeps the string vertical after a reset.
