Have You Met Miss Jones? by Richard Rodgers played on chromatic harmonica: HOHNER CHROMETTA 8 in C.

The music was written by Richard Rodgers, the lyrics by Lorenz Hart. The song was written for the musical comedy I'd Rather Be Right and was published in 1937.

It featured on the soundtrack of the film Bridget Jones's Diary as sung by Robbie Williams, and his cabaret covers concept album Swing When You're Winning.

It was once covered by John Larkin, better known as Scatman John.

It has been speculated that the cycle of major third root movement in the song's bridge was an inspiration for jazz musician John Coltrane, who developed a pattern of chord substitutions known as the "Coltrane changes" based on these chords. "Have You Met Miss Jones?" is cited as the only jazz standard incorporating this cycle of chords.

This is one of my favorite tunes to play with a jazz group. I notice you play it in F which is the original key. Personally, I prefer diaphram/throat vibrato rather than hand vibrato.

I play it the way it was in the Band in a box file, I didn't change the key. As for the throat vibrato, I know it sounds way better because it offers more control, but at the moment I still haven't trained on how to do it, so I'm stuck with doing it with my hand/arm.

mais on s'en fout que je joue mieux ou pas , moi cela ne me tracasse pas vu que je m'exibe pas!!et je ne critique personne .sauf toi..ben oui t'as le melon , tu te prend pour une star;et t'es rien.moi non plus .mais j'ai pas besoin de m'exiber !pour les slips encore une fois c'est toi qui te les mets sur la tete depuis 2 ans!donc non je ne me casse pas t'est en public tu joues et moi je hue et siffle, chacun son role .c'est sa AUSSI le net , le public et "l'exposition médiatique"..

La dernière fois que j'ai mis un slip ou un caleçon? Tu vois tu fais une petite fixation, c'est pas bien grave. Et puis surtout je met ce que je veux, je fais ce que je veux, je pourrais même te bloquer pour avoir la paix, mais c'est vrai que ça faisait longtemps que tu t'étais pas déchaîné de la sorte. Je sens bien que ça as dû te démanger, j'espère que tu t'es bien gratté là et que tu vas me foutre la paix pendant quelques mois encore. :-)
