very inspiring video. i wish the best for you. i believe the main thing is to aim for a healthy bmi (body mass index). they have online calculators that can help you find out where you need to be. i also agree with you that it's very important to eat clean, fresh foods as close to their origin as possible. Water is another biggie. i also use to take yasmin, but i stopped b/c i could no longer afford the meds. give herbal meds a try...vitex, chinese angelica, are good ones that help w/this

ya dern skippy it isn't easy living with pcos, however, i'm glad that you're embarking on taking steps towards living a healthier life. it may sound crazy, but i think there is a way to be cured of this (and a bunch of other stuff), but a CATHARSIS is needed. call it a "spiritual and emotional enema" if you will. *smile*
i was diagnosed with pcos at 15 and since then i have lost 21 pounds, but now im having alot of trouble losing the rest of the weight any tips??? and i would really like some advice about the excess body hair because now that i lost wieght and im seventeen i get very uncomfortable wearing certain clothing and i feel very self concious around my friends and especially guys.... will this be a problem in marriage will losing more weight help!!!! please help anybody

@ jznt how balanced is your diet? i know that anti-oxidant rich foods may help, as decreasing consumption of red meats & eating leaner meats & fish, staying away from the processed and refined foods, lots of water (your weight divided by two is the # of fl. oz you should drink per day to have a clear system).
i'm very proud of you for your physical fitness, and happy for your weight loss! i just don't know of any other way to combat hirsutism naturally. <3

@jznt exercise, but don't kill yourself, i.e. don't overdo it! :D as long as you incorporate weights/weight training, you'll continue to burn and keep it off, and as i've read over the years, weightloss really does help with so many things. keep up the good work, darling, and if possible, make a switch from products you currently use to organic or less toxic things. that might also help as well.
