This is a follow up of my earlier posting featuring 'Jigida and 'Atilogwu dances. This time the group showcases two other dance styles popular with the people of Enugu State of Nigeria - The 'Igede' and 'Egwu Ubö' dances

  • Oh yeah. My grandmother is from Umudioka while I'm from Umuogbu. They performed the Igede dance at my grandfather's burial.

  • people of Awka who plays Igede is called Umudioka village Awka and they are originated from Nkanu in Enugu state

  • enugu igede is quite similar to that of Awka area
