  • Yea, but the reality is that people don't over eat vegetables and plain chicken breasts. They over eat twinkies and chees doodles and burgers. Thats the problem.

    Oh, and nice shorts.

  • at first... i was getting mad at you steve LOL but towards the end ! you made it clear. that!! HFCS is bad in large amounts of it, like anything else. Shoot! as a guy, who was working out hard, 4 days a week, 35 minutes a day. I was losing nothing! i was losing weight so slow. That is! until I took out items with high fructose corn syrup, I began to see the number on the scale go down. I also realize that! most items with it are higher in calories, compare the labels guys!

  • I avoid HFCS for the sheer fact that it's made by chemical process rather than by nature. People think it's natural because it starts with corn syrup, little do they know that it goes through a nasty chemistry process to make it into HFCS, involving very toxic and caustic chemicals. watch the documentary "King Corn" and see the two filmakers make HFCS in their kitchen, with chemicals so dangerous they have to wear gloves and masks to handle it. that's what they're putting in your food!

  • @tilt1981 All fructose sugars need to be broken down by the liver. Even fruits. Glucose is what causes a blood sugar spike, but if you're an athlete that trains hard/consistently,..glucose is needed after a workout to replenish glyocgen levels in the muscles so you can recover better. And chicken breast would be leaner and better for you than chicken wings.

  • Chicken wings are an excellent source of protein.

It's my understanding HFCS is metabolized by the liver. If you consume it long term it will probably be detrimental to your health.

  • @SoldoutGodchaser he prob didnt mean the normal ones you buy in the gross he prob meant fried chiken
