I cannot accept any scientific evidence given to me by a person who believes in God.
How can this man call science gibberish and believe that god exists. He is probably a member of the Templeton foundation and being payed for this rhetoric.
I find it vary scary, how god lovers will do anything to disprove science for their own beliefs.
I work on equipment that measures Co2. In 1989 we calibrated these at 290 ppm. We now set these at 380ppm in 2009. Explain this.
Lord Monkton is dangerous!

You still haven't verified your statement. Tell me what studies you are citing.

@Syghur Today you learned eight subpopulations are declining and only one increasing despite Monckton stating the polar bear population is fine and increasing. I wonder why Monckton didnt take the time to tell the truth that eight subpopulations are on the decline?

Except that you didn't contradict Monckton. His assertion was that the report used by Gore did not back his statements. It was an example to show the liberties taken with data.

Also, if you're going to make an assertion such as this, then you had better have the research ready to follow through. Burden of proof is on the asserter.

@Syghur - My statements about the polar bears contradict Monckton. Maybe you should take time to data research and contradict my statements if you feel the need, instead of blindly denying the truth. I am here to contradict Monckton, not to do research for 'you'.

You failed to identify the reason for the population drop. Then you say that the populations rebounded after hunting was restricted. You can see how it's hard to take you seriously.

The only science where the debate is over is political science.

@Syghur - Polar bear populations rebounded after over-hunting was restricted, but that situation has nothing to do with the threat polar bears now face: the loss of the sea ice habitat essential to their survival.' There are other lies as well in Moncktons speech. I prefer taking arguments one at a time, staying with the subject.

@Syghur, Monckton lied about the polar bears. 'Western Hudson Bay population has dropped by 22% since 1987. Scientists reported of the 19 subpopulations, 8 are declining, 3 are stable, 1is increasing, and 7 have insufficient data. (The number of declining populations has increased from five at the group's 2005 meeting.)

Not to mention the fact that the CRU just got hacked and documents made public prove distortion of evidence and collusion to keep anti-AGW scientists out of peer review. Shutting down dissent. Science at it's finest huh?
