I was looking for a Paul Simon video of "Armistice Day" when i found this. I'm pretty hidebound, but the tears flowed freely.
The war to end all wars indeed.
Bob Dylan once said something like this at Wembley in October 2000, "Great Britain. When I was growing up I read about the Battle of Britain. The RAF, Winston Churchill and all that stuff. Your country stood out there alone for a while, and that means a lot to me and the people I grew up with."
When will we ever learn?

Rupert Brooke is one of my favourite poets and that video was very moving.
