my 5th # is even and i'm white (as far as i know, i dont know a lot about my fathers side). i have ok credit, but i did grow up in an "urban" area and i was the minority. it may be even more complicated then even/odd. maybe each # means a different thing and the order they are in probably does, too. too many "mixed" races for this to be THAT easy, and my husbands is even and i KNOW he's white! (and not from the hood)

@bagzie As I said, AND AS YOU DIDNT READ.....whites have Both odd and even.. And blacks CLEARLY have a disproportionate amount of even. So if you have even...I am starting to wonder, does that show a minority in the soup at one point in White men. But however you look at it...I have picked up new peers over these years, And I ask them. ALL of them that are black ..ALL...100% are even. And SOME whites are even. So however you look at it. the question remains. WHY!!!! WHY CANT I BE RANDOM AS YOU!?

Alright I refuse to get all racist, but I have to say this is a pretty erronious claim. I can see how this may look suspect, but there is no way to enter a s.s.n. in any data base credit or other wise, and determine race. How you pay your bills, how close to your limits you are on credit cards, how long you hold a job, ect are things used to figure credit scores. If you truley want equallity, stop acting like you're special.
