Also, hate to get personal, but my son's developmental delay is actually my fault - because I was driving the car when we had our accident. My husband has never blamed me or said a bad word about it - because he cares about my feelings and isn't a douche.
I think if my husband went on YouTube and basically (and unfairly) blamed me for our son's problems (like you have), I don't know if I'd want to ever talk to him again.
The concept that heavy metals may be involved in some cases of ASD is not crazy. However, placing himself in the same club as the anti-vaccine crew is not going to do any favors to his credibility.
Sinmatyx, it isn't crazy, but what this guy is spewing is NOT SCIENCE. The autism v heavy metal connection has been studied to death and as logical as it sounds, its never been proven. As for ethyl mercury... I may be wrong, but wasn't it methyl mercury that was proven to be harmful?
Yes. Methyl mercury is harmful and we do know that Ethyl mercury is less toxic than Methyl mercury so they use Methyl mercury standards with Ethyl mercury levels (which I find a bit weird, but it works I suppose).
Trust me, I know this guy is not doing himself any favors and I'm not giving him any science-props. I'm a little curious what is going on with him though. Many of the people saying similar things are basically raving lunatics. I suppose he may simply be another snake-oil guy.
Yeah, I went to his website out of curiosity and it seems that he is being investigated by his state's medical board. They may be shutting down some or all of his practice - including his work with those with Autism.
It appears that he is yet another doctor selling false hope to chronically ill patients.
this vaccine is different! it is from the pig (swine) thats why it is called the swine vaccine! another thing just two words! GENETIC MARKING! MARK OF THE BEAST, IT REWRITES THE GENETIC HUMAN GENOME TO BEAST/HUMAN
OMG! I never looked at "mark of the beast" in this way. Of all the possibilities I've looked at over the years, for the "mark of the beast"... Well, I'm just stunned. Thanks for posting that comment, 123ravenwolf.

Seriously uncool.
