PASSION'S PROGRESS 7: The Promise

This video uses an extract from the seventh of ten tracks that make up the symphonic suite Passion's Progress by Bernard J. Taylor, which has some of the most beautiful music you will ever hear. The work traces the progress of a passionate relationship, from a time of emptiness through the ups and downs of romantic passion to its final resolution.

'The Promise' is about making a commitment to one another. You believe that you are meant for each other and the time comes when you both have to realise the responsibilities that this brings with it. The mood is essentially solemn, as a sacred vow must be.
