@madmadhatter i spent an hour looking for this for exactly the same reasons as you, i wasnt even sure if i had imagined watching it or not, i just a vague memory of the kid being pulled under the bed

Omg this episode scared me sooo much when I was a kid, I had to jump about a foot away from my bed to the floor for months afterwards.

@CliffRFan yea where i'm from cbs had this coming on in the morning bout 9 this is the 4th scariest episode D&D had this and Thunderbirds....you remember thunderbirds

@madmadhatter Oh my gosh same here!!! I've been searching for this ep for ages, just suddenly remembered it was Dungeons & Dragons! I am 26 now but still have somewhat of a complex re. sticking my feet out over the edge of my bed, cos I'm scared the floor's gonna open up & I'm gonna get sucked down lol! Crazy. Glad I'm not the only one that this cartoon terrified lol!

Yep, this is definately the D & D episode that scarred me for life. For years, before getting into bed...I would run and jump into my bed to land right slap in the center so that the evil forces beneath my bed would not reach out and grab me, pulling me under. Thanks for sharing this video...maybe now I can get some closure on this awful bedtime memory, it only took about 25 years. lol.

This is it, wow, thank you. This is the thing that terrified me for many, many years as a small child. I watched the scene where the kid gets pulled under the bed and it game me nightmares for years. This is the second time I have seen it...its been about 25 years since I have seen this...interesting how a cartoon and a scene like this can invoke such horror in a six-year-old.
