A sequence of photos showing Phoenix Wharf, Bristol, from 1981 to 1994. Note the church tower, damaged in the 1990 storms, then repaired. And the building of the terraces, almost completed in 1985. To see the same trees as they are today (Aug 2011), go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC3mRhAmQrk

  • @ec123456789able @ec123456789able Thanks for the suggestion. I've now taken some new shots. You can find details on my updated description.

  • great music, what is it?

  • @sproutingman It's 'Boogie Woogie' by Amos Milburn – available on iTunes.

  • Wow... that tree to the left (in front of the newly built terrace) is a beast!

  • Yes. I wonder why it's so much more vigorous than the others.

  • that is very picturesque :)

  • holy cows on ice

  • is this bristol, ct?

  • @davidreynolds87 A lot of factors can contribute to that, maybe more sunlight on that specific spot, nutrient-rich soil, who knows? :D

  • When I'm bored, I like to watch the sun age.

  • Perhaps the others caught up in the 15 years since 1994. I wonder what it's like there today...
