@TheYella20 You're mistaken about the "worth" of labor, because the worth of labor is determined by supply and demand. If the millions of manual laborers choose to stick in that profession, the value of their labor will increase as fewer laborers enter the market or decrease as more laborers enter the market. Equilibrium is their true value. I agree with you that slave-like labor is a major problem. Foreign laborers are definitely underpaid because of governmental pressure, not capitalism.

@ProRachStravinsKiev I think alot of ppl would disagree with you about labor in the US costing more then it's "worth". Many people would say the evilness in choosing Wal-Mart is because most of the products come from foreign laborers that are being way WAY under paid as well as being forced to work in dirty, unsafe conditions. Too often when companies leave, it's not because the US is too expensive but not as easy too exploit as desperate, poor foreigners usually are.

He was not my favorite governor, or president. But he is going down in history as a great leader. I have changed my mind, behind the people who are running today. 2012 is going to be a nightmare. I don't mean this as a political statement/ just my opinion.

@MegaELECTRICEYE We lost our manufacturing base because of regulation ON the free market that required companies to pay more for labor than it was worth. All things being equal, when Target tries to charge you twice what Wal-Mart does, where would you buy your food? Are you evil for choosing Wal-Mart, even though it's offering you a more reasonable price? No! So why do we force companies to use unionized, over-priced, under-productive labor and blame capitalism when companies move away?

@gareof Of course that would be the one who's party refused to raise the dept Ceiling. A default or economic collapse is the only way to defeat Obama. Also I don't want big corporations or the wealthy to pay more taxes. They are the ones that create the Jobes in this country. Also Obama has failed to act on IRAN and CHINA. I believe a good Christian Conservative that Can NUKE CHINA AND RUSSIA would get us out of Obama mess. LIBTERDS ARE IDIOTS.

@ProRachStravinsKiev By all means the free market is a great thing. But its not when those that thump Capitalism place policies. That allow us to lose our manufaturing Base, or allow Greed to make the rule. Because they are looking out for their big profits. While they get the tax cuts, and not hire people because it cuts into profits. The Free Markets are great the GOP and Democrats have killed it the Name of Greed and coruption. Both Party's are at fault.

@MegaELECTRICEYE Study the free market and the effect of external interference much? Times get good, times get tough, that's life. No president or government can make a utopia, but certain policies have certain ramifications. It's unequivocally true that socialist policy hinders economic gains for lower and upper classes, obstructs lower classes from upward mobility, and actually increases non-economic discrimination (be it racial, ethnic, etc.).
