@betty00759: If you look at the history of India, over 12,000 years from (10,000BC to 2011) no foreign power/religion/civilization really succeeded in centrally changing India or permenantly changing the Indian/Hindu culture at a grass root level. Islam/Mughals tried hard achieved 10% (just the top 10%), perished, and passed on. How so? Indian Hindu culture's 8 leveled Yoga culture has its first step of first level as Non-Voilence with all living things (hence vegeterian).

yeah... some of our youth in india are misguided by the media that china is a threat.. i disagree with it... both are devoloping and hard working nations.... and when my uncle visited china he told me the kind of hospitality he received from chinese.... Chinese people respect india.. I say this because even i used to have the attitude like some people here and i urge all indians to change their misconception against china...
