well mines a female ringneck and it says some females take a long time for them to get used to u. so how long do u think it will take? cuz i doesnt like to b touched. it just flies around. when u get close to her she flies to the other high place. so im not sure if she'll ever want to b touch

give it time dont be in a rush keep handling the bird and possibly a few weeks to a month

every day for a week... weeks.. months.. how long does it take ... am really considering getting a ringneck.. thnx

id say a week or 2 to get them to let you pet them a couple months to get them to allow you to pick them up (grabbing around the body instead of letting them step up on your finger) not sure how long it takes to teach em to talk since none of my birds talk and my sisters love bird cant still trying to teach my dads african gray to sing the andy griffith song

oh, you actually replied, thanks a lot. that requires such a commitment, specially for a bachelor like me.. i think i'll stick with my fish for now :).
