Note: This episode runs in a space of 3 months total.
In this episode, we run into a sheltered noble, which turns out to be our healer. We also run into an... interesting character... that wants to kill us.
I also learn that I want to go easy on the subtitles. Seriously.
FAQ section:
Q: PS3 Version? I thought this was for the Xbox360?
A: There is an enhanced JAPANESE Exclusive port for the Playstation 3.
Q: Enhanced Port?
A: Yes, aka, stuff that's not in the Xbox360 version. Some include:
*Fully voiced main scenario
*Flynn joins the party permanently as a playable character at a certain point in the game
*PS3 Exclusive Patty Fleur as a playable character
*Another set of Mystic Artes for Everyone (Except Patty, she has more than two technically)
*A Second EX Dungeon after the game is beaten
If you want to spoiler yourself with the Mystic Artes, go watch my 50 minute Exhibition: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAitghFtZmA
Q: Japanese Exclusive? No English?
A: Yep. You have to play it in Japanese, or not play it at all. There's an "Asian" version that probably has subtitles in Korean or Chinese or something.
Q: But but but but, I want to play this game D:
A: Don't fret, there's a translation patch coming out soon. I don't know the details what homebrew you're gonna have to run, but here's the link to their site: http://talesofgraces.com/vesperia/

@DDTPZX Memorize which artes and items heal what. That's probably the most important thing.

@shadowofchaos725 The items have pictures, so that's not a problem, especially when I have played the Xbox version more than once. The artes...shouldn't be a problem, but I might get confused with rita's when she gets a few more. Eh...the skills are going to be horrible for me. any ideas?

@DDTPZX Aselia, the Tales wiki. Helps with PS3 exclusive skills as well. That's what I did when I didn't know much Japanese.

Ahhhh! I just ordered this online and I'm IMPATIENT to start playing again. I already played, beat, and thoroughly enjoyed Tales of Vesperia on the Xbox 360, but the additional content on the PS3 makes me craving for a re-play. It's been years since I played. I'll be watching your playlist for a refresher and to quench my thirst until it arrives in the mail. :)
So a small question, how much Japanese knowledge do you have? You seem to have a decent amount.

@EinXecty Yeah, I'd say decent enough to translate the untranslated scenes. I COULD probably translate everything if I wanted to, but why spend hours doing that if I can just use the Xbox360 script for things already done for me? :P
Decent enough for grammar and stuff like that... Kanji, not so much. That's why I have a lot of help from the computer, looking up stuff.
