U.S. Optics is a premium scope-maker, offering rugged, high-performance optics built in the USA. USO's new 1-8x28mm SN8 is significant because it offers performance and quality on par with the Leupold 1.1-8x24mm Mark 8 tactical scope, yet it will cost far less -- $1945.00 for the USO compared to $3900.00 for the Leupold! That's a huge savings. Both scopes have a First Focal Plane (FFP) Reticle and illumination. USO is also introducing a "slim-line" series of hunting scopes: 1.5-6X, 1-4X, and 3.2-17X. These offer a dramatic weight savings over standard hunting scopes.

Just as long as they don'y take as long as Schmidt & Bender did to get there short dot on the market I'll be buying one. Hell it's still more than $1,000 cheaper than the schmidt anyway.
