@smoogie7 Really? I think places with the best bet of old public toilets are like villiages ni the countryside and what have you, as they get used less, less prone to renovation.

I bet these old bathrooms are listed with any luck,so they wont be replaced.

These are actually replicas, and were only just done recently, they spent loads of money on them, and as you said, to remind people of the past.

@maroonloo There are some like this on Rothesay on the Scottish Isle of Bute. They whee restored. There is a vid of them on here where someone films the inside. I filmed them myselfin 2008 but my phone messed up and I lost all trance of it! :-( It must have been the first recording I had ever done!

@smoogie7 Yeah, those are pretty much original apart from the restoration they did, I would love to go there, that long row of Twyford Adamants with glass cisterns.

@maroonloo Worth the visit I would say. I have also heard there are some in Hamstead in Outer London & some in Hull that are ver original.
