Lyrics
Good mornin' Ladies n gentlemen,
Brothas n sistas, boys n gals
This is your Captain N your Sky-Jay speakin
Here's some news that I'm gonna B breakin'
Have flown U all here from near
N from far, far way
And I have somethin' 2 say
In a few minutes time
We'll be landin' on the runway One 2 the bay
Please fasten your seatbelts
U can C how the ice crystal melts
We R approachin' London
No need 4 U yet 2 abandon
This is your place on the river
She's always been a giver
She can get U high n turn U on
And she gets U movin' on
U can C below, weavin' N windin' her way
From left 2 right, that's her alright
She's our river it's your river thames
N some, some of the sites 4 the olympic games
Please take a look, just close your book
Look out of your window N the frames
The weather outside, it's picture perfect
Cloudless n not a single defect
From Dublin 2 Dover it's the same all over
And it's never gonna B over
It's is our pleasure, it's our privilege
2 welcome u home
N say welcome 2 the game
Say hello 2 your global village
A multi coloured collage
That's our history, that's our heritage
Music is our spoken language
This is our treasure
This U can always measure
Say hello, hallo, hola, aloha, yala yala
Salaam, shalom, om or selam
It's one n the same, It's Jerusalem
Just a different name
But not a different aim
From another place
And from another time frame
Say hello 2 your cultural capital
U bein' here is so vital n so pivotal
V C Q 2 B part of the game
And the London Music Maratone
It's your own special Rapparathon
Rappeotry that U wanna try
This has been on, it's gonna B live
Take 5 N take some time
2 get your thoughts in line N 2 rhyme
The power of the word
Is mightier than the sword
A shade sharper than the blade
Show us your might without a single fight
Show us the light, just do it all right
Let it B bright like the torch n the flame
Of this uni-versal game
Let it B rock ‚n' roll,
Doesn't really matter on the whole
If you've got some heavy metal
That's no question at all
Rap, clap, hip-hop or pop
Please don't ever stop the loop
Let it B just musique, let it B unique
Jazz, blues or classix or just a little bit of DJ-Mix
Give us some hooks, give us the looks
And give us some guitar licks
It could also B the human beat-box, deluxe
Tell us your story n your saga
Make it a little bit of reggae n some raaga
