Any scientific advancement naturally comes with both positive and negative impacts on society. But that doesnt mean we should stop advancing technologically. It means we should protect people against potential abuses while encouraging positive uses of the technology.

RFID technology is primarily used for tracking products. Would anyone deny a business its right to track merchandise traveling from Point A to B? There is no value in tracking people. Enrico Fermi, the father of nuclear science, could hardly have imagined the impact of his discovery on the world. However, even though nuclear science, like RFID technology, has its negative side, can anyone deny the positive aspects of finding alternate sources of energy or keeping track of merchandise?

We as the free people of this world will fight you every second in your atempts to control our every move. Canada will not acept your electronic tracking systems, and as long as we are activists and sread the word to everyone around us, you will be stopped.
Can you argue that if Natzi Germany was around today that Hitler himself would not be at the forefront of using this product? Simple fact. My gradfather fought to stop anti-freedom activists like you.
I don't know what Hitler would be doing if he were alive today, but if you look at the world today, it is striking that the least free countries on earth -- Cuba, North Korea, etc.-- are the ones that are technologically backward. Everyone argued the Internet would be used by companies in negative ways and while there have been some abuses, the Internet makes society more informed and therefore freer. And so shall it be with RFID.
