Here's the Wahcade frontend running some PC games emulated through DOSBOX or through native Linux ports.

Also shows some of my recent progress with Wahcade including preview videos and images as well as "arcade ambiance" mp3s (which you can't hear too well in the video, I'm afraid).

  • is it possible to somehow get dosbox and dos games on a ps3, without getting linux and all that?

A way so you can still play your ps3 games, and use psn and so forth

  • Not unless you buy them from the PS Store, no.

  • What the hell are you talking about, moron? I spent $400CDN to play PS3 games. Everything else is free.

  • nice framerate in dosbox and D1X! You using flux?

  • In these videos, no, I was not using Fluxbox at the time. I was running a full version of KDE.

  • @zerojayzero cAn you run Wolfenstein 3D castle totenkopf SDL on PS3?

    Plz reply

  • wolfenstein!! LOL, I have that on my PC :)

  • You partition the hard drive to get linux on the ps3, meaning you can run linux or the native PS3 software at will, without changing any settings.

    It can get complicated though.

  • Did you ever get wahcade to play background music in the menus ??, i'm trying to do it, it uses gsteamer right ?, I just want wahcade or some background program to play midis in the rom list menus and stop when the rom loads
