This, I believe, is the best example of a Minuet and Gigue I've seen danced in an authentic setting. I've seen instructional videos on the specific dance figures, but never anything so beautifully and faithfully executed. The costumes are wonderful...heck, even the orchestra is in costume, playing period instruments and using period technique. Rapture!

@BasicCypher : No. Not true. It might be for the chosen aristo in that time but it becomes available for the rest of the people very soon after it was created. So yes, it becomes culture of the most beautiful expresion.

I find these lovely ladies more intoxicating, beautiful and elegant than the modern hyper-sexualized woman.

Problem with feudal music is not the beauty, not the artistic way. It's that it's feudal. It's for aristocracy for aristocracy, not from the people for the people. And so it's no real culture.
It's just "V.I.P." aristo stuff. It's clearly art and beautiful performed, but I ask myself if this kind of art is truly culture. I really miss culture in our world. True culture, most is just aristo-stuff, proprietary, copyrighted owned by few. Performed by few. With the flaw of feudalism, exclusive.

I was really surprised to see some people disliking this video. Wonderful costumes of old centuries, very good dancers with Handel’s magnificent water music. If we want to define what an absolute beauty is, we'll say it’s something like what’s in this video. Unfortunately, people disliking this are either blind or deaf or most probably both.
