On Move-In Day, President Rebecca Chopp joined Dean of Students Liz Braun and Provost Constance Hungerford in welcoming new students and their parents, families, and friends and answering their questions. Goodbyes then gave way to Orientation Week, during which students met with their campus advisers and gathered for outdoor games, class registration, and the activities fair. Phineas the Phoenix visited the residence halls with a Taste of Philly and during First Collection, the Class of 2014 heard addresses from Dean Braun, President Chopp, Deivid Rojas '11, and Professor of Studio Art Syd Carpenter.
