iPhone 4S Teardown Review

We sent our co-founder 18 hours into the future, to Melbourne, Australia, to get his skillful hands on Apple's latest iPhone offering: the iPhone 4S. But surprise! Fed-Ex one-upped us by delivering an iPhone 4S early to (iFixit user) Markus Weiher in Germany, and with Markus's help we were able to give the iPhone 4S the teardown treatment it deserves.

Also, you, like many of us, might be wondering if you can install Siri on your iPhone/iPad/iPod. While the verdict is still out on that question, this video has a couple of possible reasons why it's not available.

The iPhone 4S IS the iPhone 5. I'm sure you're smart enough to count. iPhone. iPhone 3G. iPhone 3GS. iPhone 4. iPhone 4S. What will be interesting is the name of the next generation of the iPhone, the 6th iPhone to be manufactured for sale. If not just out of rumor mill spite, I would put money on Apple NOT naming their next phone the iPhone 5. This is where you *gasp* and exclaim "He's right!" and come up with a new bullshit rumor name for dumb people to follow. Go!

@MacLover678 It is just an upgrade of the 4 model. The iphone 5 which is rumored to be coming out this spring/summer along side the iPad 3 is said to be a whole new revamp of the iPhone. I am not sure why they released this one so close to the 5 coming out though. Hope this helps.
