Inorite? I've never wore make-up; I hate the stuff. Make-up, plastic surgery, fashion; it's all for people who feel insecure about the way they look. And its the airbrushed celebrities (who would be nothing without their make-up artists and photoshoppers) who put this pressure on girls my age. It's idiotic - and it's only girls. My friends are mostly boys, and I've never expireienced that pressure. I am, who I am - and that's an important lesson that the beauty industry needs to learn.
What can I say, humans rock. We are so afraid of being ridiculed and of not fitting in that we create these rules which we "have" to follow. Would be interesting if the money which is currently invested in beauty industry (which is billions of dollars) was used for something more important, like...I don't know..FINDING THE CURE FOR CANCER, for example. But it's just not gonna happen cause we aren't ready to let go of the illusion of beauty. We just love to lie to ourselves
