Flexible display technology is playing an increasingly important role in the global high-tech industry. At Arizona State University's Flexible Display Center (FDC), their mission is to advance the development and commercialization of full-color flexible electronic display technologies, enabling the next generation of flexible electronics.

  • yes, although it does not have the same level of light as an external source would, layering them will make it brighter

    if you want to know how they work check wikipedia

  • in this video the display appears to have a own (background) light source, is this already possible, not relying on external light sources?

    and in a couple of years i'm sure the resolution wont be half bad either as well with the Colours.
