Great song and a great story! The PV is amazing!
Also, I think you guys could come up with a lot of theories about this... like, who was the person at the end of the video? Were they the mastermind behind the "play"?

One thing that I thought was pretty neat was the fact that some of the words had the last letter capitalized... since, y'know, this song is about endings. :D

---------------------------------------
Characters (cast) of the story (since I forgot to put them in the actual video...):
Village girl: Miku
Girl Doll: Rin
Boy Doll: Len
Daughter: Luka
Master: Kaito
Lady: Meiko
Maid: Gumi
Butler: Gakupo

  • Miku enters a mansion after traveling hoping to stay the night. She wakes up the next morning and it's still night.

Apparently she was pulled into a strange twisted never ending story where they are forever in that mansion. Miku herself is the main character, out of many bad ends where she dies. She realizes the trick is in the clock, the knives inside are supposed to be used to kill everyone(?). However, it rewinds and she's stuck again, meanwhile, a voice in a cloak picks up the pieces...

  • The story isn't too difficult to understand. Miku gets trapped in a mansion that some how keeps things at one time (In matryoshka- 'times moving on but the clock stays the same') and they party. However, Miku gets scared and goes snooping. She finds the hidden room and discovers the coffins. She thinks the others will kill her. Then Len/Rin says somthing about the clock and she grabs the hands(they're really knives) and kills everyone. But then time rewinds and it starts all over again...

  • The story isn't so hard to understand...until you realize their are 50 different ways to view the same story *looks at comments*

  • @juzinhabio89 hey hey where are you going

  • IM SO CONFUSED CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THE ENDING TO ME AND ALSO DID SHE KILL EVERYONE??????????? o.o

  • I guess the voice at the end could be Gakuko.......judging by the blocked voice and all O.O I'm not sure, but I guess I heard a Gakuko song once where she sounded like this....

  • wouldn't it be interesting if the coffins were all her, like all the times she tried and failed, dying and getting the 'bad end'

  • Ah... now I get it. She wasn't awake at all... She DID go to the mansion, she DID party with the others, and maybe she DID drink with the rest. But here's where- *inception theme* all the mindfuck is. Turns out that Miku actually killed them while drunk, then slept. Then she started to have this whole memory all over again because it was stuck in her sub-conscious, also creating the tombs in her dream as Guilt. The letter turned out to be the will of the last victim "crying" she didn't kill...

  • I think this song is about a person who murders an entire family, and is forever trying to find some way to justify it to themselves - the "Happy End" that Miku is supposed to find. They imagine themselves as an innocent villager (Miku) who enters a strange creepy house with creepy people and COFFINS (so of course it's only natural to defend oneself). However, the best way that they can think of to make themselves feel better is to imagine that they enjoyed it - which doesn't help at all.

  • @Sukipon I always laugh, maybe because it catches me off guard...

  • Miku loses her way and has to spend the night at the mansion. If she can play her cards right, they all get out of the forever nighttime.(hence Kaito saying"A meeting like this must be fate")If she doesn't,one of them, whoever wasn't happy that night, kills her,(hence the room of coffins)and she has to start again. She thinks if she kills them, she will be free, but she's wrong.I see the stranger as Miku for the next"Act",and that's why they pick up the letter crying, because she has to restart.I dunno

  • Can't spell slaughter without laughter right? ;)
