For Round 8 I got 14 seconds (yes, 14) with this strategy exactly:
Walk around the trigger that spawns the Troll and cast Raise Dead 4 where he spawns. Run back and hit the trigger, and immediately cast Time Control 3 when you're able to. Run quickly behind the Troll and cast Shock 5. It should hit each of his tendrils in turn.
The Raise Dead is so he doesn't retreat underground right away. Save first and if it doesn't work quit/reload and keep trying... only took me like 4 tries.

For room 6 my record is 43 seconds; I use a Master Flintlock Rifle with Devastation and Lucky Charm augments and snap my aim to each enemy 1 at a time in quick succession. A body shot will kill the Bandits one hit as long as you snap the aimer to them, and a headshot will kill the Highwaymen 1 hit. If anyone gets close I keep a Master Axe with the same augments handy, but when I got my 43 seconds I did it all with the rifle.
Same strategy with the Flintlock Rifle got me 26 seconds in Round 7.

@themeekster94 I would say inferno, less damage but still a one hit kill and hit's more targets ;)

Buy a lot of houses (or so I was told.)

I think melee weapon is the famous "Daichi" and the ranged weapon should be "The Perforator"
:p
great vid 5* what did you use to record this?? and could you use inferno istead of shock on all rounds?

Shock delivers more damage than inferno and targets individual enemies. I have tried it but the shock gets better and more consistent results if used properly, except on the Round 4, because the Hollow Men burn!
I recorded the video using a video camera pointing at my screen. I made sure that the Xbox was set to 720p and mounted the camera on a tripod. The camera used was a Sony HDR-HC3.
