Was looking up something for work and came across this. It brings back a lot of memories as I actually drove this car on a couple of occasions. It was a total rocket ship and would run with some of the best performance cars of the time. Ahhhh the good old days

@DFN4U If you'd do some research, you'd know the Feretta got a V8. Around the time this prototype was built, rumors were flying that the end of the f-body was near. The Feretta (f-body + Beretta) was supposed to be a FWD replacement for them, just as the Ford Probe was going to be a FWD replacement for the near demise of the Mustang. It was one of many crazy prototype creations GM did in that era that never came to be (there was also an AWD V8 Beretta, as well as an AWD twin turbo V6).

So this Beretta is special because? It looks like the STP Grand Prix but is it the Turbo 3.1 under the hood?

I saw this car profiled (and photographed in black and white) for a Hot Rod magazine piece about GM test mules about a decade ago, when GM was still storing it.
It's cool now not only to see video of the thing running, but just to see it in color.
