  • Vlad is also a russian male-name, and Vladic is it's diminutive-hypocoristic form. The suffix -off sounds very close to russian surname suffix -ov (mask.) . So, it's quite difficult to prove that the character of Vlad is directly related to Russians, but above mentioned details allow all Russians (and Bulgarian, Belorussian, and several other Slavic) to feel a certain attitude to themselves.

  • I can't find a set-up for an Assassin's Creed/CSI reference, so I'm just gonna say it.

"Looks like you've just been..." *Puts sunglasses on* "VLAD-DED!"

    YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • @pinkbabe2218 Also , apparently Birds of Vlad`s Species are indigenous to Russia so I guess The Russian Accent was deliberate even though Vlad was inspired by and named after Dracula who`s Romanian and/or Hungarian !

  • @pinkbabe2218 The Accent`s intended as Romanian but it comes out more Slavic because Will Arnett apparently doesn`t know what An Authentic Romanian Accent sounds like ! The Romanian Accent is like A Russian/Spanish Mix with A Lilting , Romantic Tone !

  • @1993MovieMan I know, I know the romanian history :) but it depends on the accent, here I can't say it's a russian accent or romanian ?here it's more like russian.. I really don't know ...maybe you're right .... yugoslavian characters speaks with the same accent :D Look at the description

  • @pinkbabe2218 The Character was written as Romanian ! Vladimir is indeed Russian but just plain Vlad can be Russian , Romanian , Hungarian , Ukrainian or Belarussian ! Vlad Tepes ( AKA : Vlad the Impaler , the Historical Dracula )was Romanian born in Transylvania which was part of Hungary at The Time ! So ya , there`s confusion regarding both The Fictional and Historical Draculas but generally Vlad is considered Romanian and as for The Count , it depends on when The Film`s set !

  • Is this tree for real?!?

  • @happymooz doubt it

  • the bad vlad... or the bunny vlad that gives us cookies!
