Sorry man but the loin is always shady. Its just the degree of shadiness on any given day or night. Its not a shock that many locals stay away from that area unless they have a specific reason to go, And even then many don't want to go.

Lived on ellis street int he tenderloin for like 3 years ..horrible people sittin' on my car crapping in front of my apartment building and looked like plain crap .-.

@gayforlife2020 It's not even that bad, I walk through the Tenderloin every morning to get to school and it's very uneventful, nothing happens to me ever. I think the dumb out-of-towners and hipsters should stay out as they cause 99% of the trouble.
