TOP 10:Helicopters - AH-1 Cobra(No.4)

dont know why any pure attack helicopter is so on this this list...the mi-24 should be ahead of both this and the ah-64....an attack helicopter list could be different but not a list with this broad a spectrum

"Zulu Cobra" is the latest I believe, but the "Longbow Apache" is the best helicopter out there. I might be wrong though as the Chinese have developed a chopper that can go to the Moon, drop some flyers and come back to Earth, all in less than 1 second.

This is a really thin helicopter so it`s hard to see and hit but im not sure if it will survive when hit by a stinger,rpg or any other explosive anti aircraft device

The Hind is alot faster than any other attack helicopter, including the Cobra. I'm honestly surprised the Hind is the only helicopter ever made thats able to transport troops and then support them.

No only the Marines use AH-1W SuperCobra. But the US Navy's amphibious assault ships do transport them but I believe only the Marines operate them.

eventually the AH-1W will be replaced by the AH-1Z. I'm not sure if the -1Z model will be better than the 1W though.

1Z Viper is basically just an upgraded 1W so yea its better

my dad was a medic in vietnam and he saw a helicopter flying back and forth right over the tree line. my dad asked his friend what the hell it was doing and he pointed up into the sky and there were a bunch of cobra gunships in the clouds waiting for some poor son of a bitch to shoot at it lol!
