the mirror of erised | deepest desires

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE WATCHING!

This is a video response to the contest held by twiksa90. These are the three things I think I would see in the mirror, all in order.

1.) My father- the first part of the video is referring to the fact that my dad isn't here with me (he works over seas) and I wanted to express that through Dom Cobb from Inception because he's away from his kids most of the time and he wants nothing more than to be with them, the same way I want to be with my dad most of the time. For that I would see my father.
2.) Friendship- my best friend moved away a year ago and the only way we can communicate is through the internet. I've missed her, and though I've got plenty of friends here, nobody can understand me like she does, and for that reason I would see both of us happily in the mirror.
3.) Beauty- OK, it might seem a bit self-centered, but I think many of us can relate to the feeling of wanting to be pretty. I don't think I'm hideous but I don't think I'm gorgeous either. We've all been there where we just want to look a certain way, and I'm not going to lie, if I looked into the mirror I would see a prettier me.

Voice over: It shows us nothing more or less then the deepest and most desperate desires of one's heart. This mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth. It does not do to dwell on dreams, Harry.
