"just finishing" something is only important if your, you know, trying to get a check so you can eat and pay the light bill. which i respect, but if your writing for yourself you don't have to force yourself to keep going with something if you've literally exhausted yourself creatively at that point. Sometimes it is just better to let ideas sit on the shelf for a while...as long as there written down, you can always come back to them.

I'd like it say if I was in Kevin Smiths position I'd handle the whole "will you read my screenplay" shtick as well as he did. I imagine he gets asked that question like 5 times a day, must get very old.
