@janansparlai i guess b/c they are NOT "Afghans", but historically, they have ALWAYS been on that land. When England marked up the map, they considered South Tajiks as "Afghans" and conjoined the land w/ the Pashtuns or Afghans. It also helped that the Mamadzai's annexed the other Persian speaking tribes in to the state, which before the war, I mean years and years ago no one had any issues with. The war f-ed everything up b/w the people. Shame.
