The fact that things like Prop 8 even exist in this country is atrocious. Since when did the US become a non-secular country? Anybody who has a problem with gay marriage obviously has a problem with the 'separation of church and state'.
Not everybody in America is religious, and the government needs to protect that. Marriage is a contract between two people and the state. I've NEVER heard a logical anti-gay marriage argument that wasn't set in a religious context.
