The crash scene was way overdone and really detracts from the movie. If they wanted to create a plot issue about Zippo and Linda, the gunshot and crash would have been enough.

loooll the mother of all pileups! its sad to see all those cars get thrashed but I suppose it was cheaper than special effects back then
